Energy is the fuel for our bodies. The capacity to perform work is referred to as energy. A body’s capacity for energy is determined by how much work it can accomplish when it is released.
Is energy connected with emotions?
Yes. The sensation of energy moving through the body is what we generally refer to as emotion. Typically, this is experienced as contractional feelings like tension or expansion feelings like calmness. Emotion is literally translated from the Latin word “emotere,” which means energy in motion. Emotional energy is neutral in and of itself.
What is built-up energy?
Feelings, forces, or energies that haven’t been used, expressed, or released are known as “built-up energies.” One can understand it as the excessive energy which gets stored in our bodies and reacts in a riled manner.
What built-up energy feels like?
- You’re so giddy that you could finish everything in a flash and then look for something else to do.
- Additionally, you might feel as though you need to move right away to burn the energy off by running or doing something.
- Occasionally, you may have trouble falling asleep because your body or mind is racing.
- You experience a lot of extra energy that is more than enough for you to burn.
- ‘Pumped’ and ‘adrenalized’ are constant feelings for you.
- In addition, you might experience difficulty relaxing or sitting still.
- You may feel like starting new tasks or projects even though your schedule is already full. This is another sign of excess energy. The urge to try something new is overwhelming. Some examples include redesigning or moving around your home, painting it, beginning new studies or groups, getting a new pet, purchasing more items, etc. You are entirely to blame for this because you are so enthusiastic and interested.
How to Release Built-up Energy that Isn’t Serving You
We cling to our feelings or energies rather than letting them go. As we hold onto unseen energy, discomfort, conditioned responses, or trauma, blocks develop. You can easily release clogged energy in the comfort of your own home using methods like music, meditation, and Reiki. Three other techniques that aid in releasing surplus energy include diffusing essential oils, taking a salt bath, and getting a massage. However, there are several other ways you can release unwanted energy.
- Accept your emotions.
Know what you are actually feeling and accept it. Once you accept yourself and your emotions and energy, you are able to clear your aura and find peace.
- Process your feelings.
Once you have accepted your emotions, it’s time to process them and find ways to cope with them. It’s really important to learn to differentiate between all conditions that are under your control and those that are not.
- Go for a walk
Spending time in nature or going for a walk are the best ways to unwind. You can let out extra energy and find peace amidst the chaos by walking or jogging. You will develop emotionally as well as physically as a result.
- Engage yourself in productive activities.
After accepting and processing your feelings, it’s time to let them out by doing something constructive, like painting, drawing, cleaning, jogging, or playing a sport.
- Yoga
Your six chakras are opened up by yoga, which also significantly improves how your body works. Yoga is a wonderful way to unblock energy, and it also teaches you how to control your mind and heart.
A type of complementary medicine, reiki is an energy healing method that originated in Japan. In the hands-on healing method used by Reiki practitioners, “universal energy” is said to be transferred from the practitioner’s palms to the patient in order to promote emotional or physical healing.
- Visit a counsellor
It is advised to see a counsellor or a medical professional who can help you deal with the issue when blocked energy begins to trouble your body both mentally and physically.
See what you no longer need, and let it go.
You can let things go.
Admitting that something used to work but no longer does is acceptable
To alter is acceptable. It’s acceptable to demand change.
