Bad days can be the worst. You wake up on a sour note, not knowing why you’re feeling so downhearted. Maybe it’s because you had a fight with your partner or you were passed over for a job that would have made your life more interesting and perhaps more lucrative. After all, what’s bad about having a bad day? Everything else in the world is composed of varying shades of grey, not just blue and green (or black).
There will always be good days and there will always be bad days. However, when one becomes excessive or downright recurrent, that should signal something to us as humans or at least as individuals. Bad days may also signal other things. Here are 7 red flags you should look out for if you think your life is becoming too monotonous:
You’re Not Changing Up Your Routine
You have a bad habit of sticking to the same routine every single day. You wake up at the same time, have your morning coffee, and read the same few articles online. You go to work at the same time and then come back home. You eat dinner at 6 p.m. on the dot and watch the same few shows on Netflix. You have 3 hours of free time, and you spend it doing the same things.
You spend all your free time with the same few people, and you have a bad habit of texting each one of them the same few things. You’re not changing up your routine, and that’s a bad sign. You may just be going through the motions, but you’re also missing out on a lot of new experiences. You can do so many things if you just try out something different.
You Constantly Compare Yourself To Others
You constantly compare yourself to others. Your partner, your friends, your family, your boss, and even the people you approach for sex. You feel that you need to be better than them, because who cares if you did something but they did it better? So long as you are who you are, then you have nothing to be ashamed of, but you feel as though you need to hide it.
You are who you are, and you need to be proud of that. You have nothing to be ashamed of, and you shouldn’t try to hide who you are. Accept who you are and be proud of who you are. Be yourself, and stop trying to be something you’re not. You already are that person, so stop comparing yourself to others and try to be who you already are.
You Have A Fear Of Missing Out On Good Things
You have a bad habit of living in the past and in the future. You think about good things that you did in the past, but you fear missing out on good things that will happen in the future. You’re always on Instagram, always scrolling through your news feed, always watching videos, and always looking at pictures on Facebook. You watch videos at least twice a day, you go to Instagram stories at least once a day, and you go on Facebook at least once a day. You’re constantly thinking about the past and present, but you’re not living in the present.
You are missing out on so many good things, and you’re afraid of missing out on them in the future. You’re not opening your eyes to the fact that you are missing out on so many good things currently. You have to take a step back and think about how you can enjoy the things that you did in the past, but you’re not doing so.
You Have Difficulty Making Decisions
You constantly struggle with making decisions. There are so many choices you have, and you want to make the best one out of them. You have a bad habit of not being decisive. You don’t have a clear direction in your life, and you don’t know what you want to do in the future. You don’t know what would make you happy. You don’t know what would make you feel fulfilled.
You have difficulty making decisions. You’re not sure of what you want to do in the future, and you have difficulty making decisions right now. You have so many decisions in your life. There are so many things that you can decide to do. There are so many things that you can decide to not do. Decisions are crucial, and you can’t just decide to do them later on when you’re more ready for them. You have to make a decision right now, and you have to decide to do it.
You Mope Around The House Too Much
You’re constantly moping around. You don’t feel like doing anything, and you don’t want to be around anyone. You don’t want to talk to anyone, and you don’t want to talk about anything. You just want to stay in your room and mope around. You constantly feel down and depressed, and when you’re not in that mood, you feel like you’re sad. You don’t want to be around people, you don’t want to be around anything, and you just want to stay in your room. You don’t want to go out, you don’t want to socialize, and you don’t want to do anything.
You just want to stay in your room and mope around. You don’t want to do anything, you don’t want to talk to anyone, you don’t want to be around anyone. You just want to mope around in your house. You don’t feel like going out, you don’t feel like socializing, and you don’t feel like doing anything. You don’t want to go out, you don’t want to talk to anyone, and you don’t want to do anything. You just want to stay in your room and mope around.
Conclusion
If you’re having a bad day, it might just be time to get out of your comfort zone. You can do so many things if you just try out something different. You can make new friends, go to a new place, try out a new hobby, talk to someone you don’t usually talk to, or even ask someone you’ve been putting off asking you a question. You can make a list of 3 things that you want to do that are outside of your comfort zone, and you can do them. You can try to make a different decision that you don’t usually make, or you can try to ask someone out on a date. Bad days don’t have to be bad. You can make them better and make them better for yourself.
